What does a professional organizer do?
A professional organizer will work effectively with clients in their homes, offices or small businesses to help take control of their surroundings, their time, their paper, and their systems for life. As a professional organizer, my mission is to provide the following services to my clients

  • Accurately assess the project
  • Determine an action plan
  • Determine what you wish to keep, recycle, donate or toss
  • Create customized solutions that are easy to maintain
  • Choose the right tools and systems to maximize space
  • Provide professional organizing tips and advice for long term maintenance


What is NAPO?

The National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) is a non-profit professional association whose members include organizing consultants, speakers, trainers, authors of organizing services and manufacturers of organizing products. Founded in 1985, NAPO's mission is to develop, lead and promote professional organizers and the organizing industry. I am a proud member of NAPO and NAPO’s Atlanta based Georgia Chapter.


What is your policy for privacy and confidentiality?

As an Atlanta professional organizer, I abide by the written Code of Ethics for members of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO). A written is copy will be provided upon request. In addition, I value my clients and I am committed to keeping all personal information confidential.


How do you charge for your services?
I work by the hour and fees are based on the type of organizing services requested. Payment is due at the end of each session and I accept personal/business checks, VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.  A minimum of 3 hours is required per professional organizing session.


Do you provide references?

Yes. Upon request, I will supply a list of clients that you may contact.


Do you prefer to work alone or with your clients?
I prefer to work with clients present, allowing the client to make decisions about their personal items during the professional organizing and sorting process. Working side by side guarantees the systems are personally customized to fit each individual’s needs.


How long will it take me to get organized?

The length of every professional organizing project is different and will vary from project to project.


Do you offer ongoing maintenance to stay organized after the project has been completed?

Being organized is an ongoing process. The project is not over once the professional organizer leaves. It requires discipline and a daily commitment to maintain the systems to stay organized. I will be happy to schedule ongoing in person professional organizing check-ups or phone consultations.


What if I need containers, shelves or other organizing products?

Unless otherwise stated, I will be happy to recommend products as part of my organizing services and advise where to purchase them.
